Welcome to the homepage of the Town of Belleair Building Department. This page has been developed to provide our customers and the public with a general guideline for the procurement of building permits and the associated requirements for work performed under the permit.

The Town of Belleair Building and Zoning department’s main objective is to ensure all construction complies with the Standard Building Code, and is in compliance with the Town’s Land Development Code. Building permits provide the means for code officials to protect town residents by reducing potential hazards of unsafe construction and therefore ensuring the public health, safety, and welfare.

The building department provides information concerning; zoning, land use regulations, licensing, code enforcement, and the building permit process. It also provides information concerning tree removal and fencing permits. Additionally, the building department provides information on the use of temporary storage containers as well as prepares variance requests.
