Town Clerk's Mission Statement

To serve the residents of Belleair with the highest degree of respect, professionalism, and integrity in accordance with the town charter, the code of ordinances, and the statutes of the State of Florida

Department Summary

The staff of the Town Clerk's Office is responsible for a number of areas dealing with the town's administration.

The clerk is the designated custodian of records and serves as the support personnel for the mayor and commissioners. The clerk also coordinates all town elections with the supervisor of elections.

The clerk is also responsible for preparing notices for all public hearings and ordinance advertisements in compliance with the town charter and the laws of the State of Florida.

In addition, the clerk's office is reponsible for issuing occupational licenses for home based and commercial businesses.
